Grief 101

6 May

Please join us on Monday, May 6 at 6:00 pm at Big Bend Hospice for our continuing grief series. This month’s topic is “Grief 101.”

The loss of a loved one is a universal experience and yet many of us don’t know what to expect when weor someone we care about is grieving. Some questions that will be addressed during this free presentation will include:

  • How long does grief take?
  • What are some of the normal signs of grieving?
  • When should someone seek professional help, and where?
  • What are some healthy and helpful ways to cope with grief?

***This session is open to Big Bend Hospice volunteers, clients, and community members, but is not recommended for the newly bereaved. This focus of this session is educational, rather than therapeutic.Light refreshments will be served.

For more information or to register please contact Pam Mezzina @ 878-5310 x 799 or pam@bigbendhospice.org
